Job Description

Aircraft Maintenance Production and Supervision Team Lead

The Aircraft Maintenance Production and Supervision Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing Aircraft Mechanical Production and Supervision within the Base and MRO environment. This includes aircraft scheduled maintenance, component maintenance within workshops, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning – Develop and implement a tactical plan to ensure the timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Team Management – Supervise a team of mechanical supervisors and technicians, prioritizing tasks to maximize efficiency and meet production schedules.
  • Quality Assurance – Monitor and ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Maintenance Organisation Exposition.
  • Training and Development – Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Communication – Foster open communication among team members, stakeholders, and management, ensuring that issues are reported and addressed promptly.

Requirements

  • Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
  • Experience – Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills – Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications – Hawk T2/Mk167 type training or equivalent, with a valid Log Book capturing skills, knowledge, and authorities for working on aircraft or in workshops.
