Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform landscaping and horticulture tasks throughout the site, including perimeters and the Barn and Farmhouse complex.
  • Operate various grounds equipment, such as tractors, lawn mowers, strimmers, blowers, power wash units, hedge cutters, and long reach hedge cutters.
  • Organize waste collections in the waste yard and collect waste throughout the site, including cardboard, general waste, and hazardous waste streams.
  • Conduct general cleaning tasks throughout the site, including jet washing and cleaning road pavements and road edges.
  • Perform periodic checks of equipment, including FLT battery top-ups, using designated reporting sheets.
  • Conduct fire hydrant checks and use FLT and JCB equipment as needed.
  • Deliver products around the site, including bottled water deliveries.
  • Perform general handyman duties, such as putting up signs, repairs, and painting of fencing.
  • Assist with office moves and office, washroom, and changing room cleaning.
  • Set up rooms and move furniture as needed.
  • Provide snow removal and gritting services.
  • Apply weed killer throughout the site.
  • Offer car valeting and preparation services.
  • Work with helpdesk requests and systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of gardening solutions and their uses would be beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to shifting priorities when needed.
  • Strong teamwork and instruction-following skills.
  • Basic IT skills, including using an electronic tablet.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
