Days and Nights ( 3 on 3 off ) No Saturday Nights
Overtime 1.5x
The purpose of the Maintenance Engineer is to support the Engineering department to achieve effective and productive running of the processes.
Responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery and providing breakdown and maintenance cover on a varied range of machinery.
Key Duties:
- Adhere to company Health & Safety policies
- Perform reactive and proactive maintenance on a variety of packaging and process equipment
- Troubleshoot breakdowns across a range of equipment to provide minimal downtime
- Maintain documentation to provide historical records of breakdowns and PPMs
- Involvement with a number of projects from machinery upgrades to building work
- Work with production to facilitate optimum running time of lines
- Communicate technical & operational issues, quickly & effectively to relevant departments
Experience and Qualifications:
- FMCG/Food Production Experience
- Packaging machines experience
- Ability to organise and work under pressure
- Engineering Qualification
- Experience within a Fast moving environment
