Exterior Cleaner

Holmes Mill was established in 1823 when the first multi-storey spinning block was built. A second spinning block, known as New Mill, was erected in about 1830 and the two mills were soon incorporated into one complex. A weaving shed was added to the north of the site in 1853. The Grade II listed building had been left empty for years before it was purchased in 2015 by Bowland Inns & Hotels.

This was closely followed by the opening of the function room in October 2016, which can host weddings and events for up to 180 guests, and the Boiler House in November 2016 which is now a Gelateria and Duckpin Bowling Alley. Bowland Food Hall then opened in June 2017 as a shopping destination and café.

The final phase of the development finished in 2022, with an addition of office space, making Holmes Mill the biggest business centre in the Ribble Valley.

**Based in the heart of Clitheroe, Holmes Mill is a unique celebration of Lancashire food, drink and entertainment. Featuring a beer hall, hotel, food hall and much more, this former têxtile mill is the perfect place to indulge, unwind and explore.**

First impressions matter and we are looking for an individual who will ensure, no matter the occasion that our outdoor seating area, surrounding areas and car park are meticulously presented before our guests arrive each day.

**Working from 6.00am -10.00am 4 days on, 4 days off in rotation.**

**Possible later finishes available on peak days as and when required.**

**Grounds person duties will include but not limited to**:

- Setting up outside dining areas for the day.
- Sweeping, Litter Picking, Jet Washing car park and exterior customer areas.
- Remove debris and litter from exterior areas on a regular basis.
- Monitor outdoor lighting and report any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate department.
- Coordinating delivery drop offs and hotel departures / arrivals
- Assisting with unloading and checking off deliveries
- Assist with landscaping duties, such as watering plants, trimming bushes, and maintaining flower beds
- Gritting the car park in winter
- Car Park Marshall on busy periods.
- Put up / remove advertising banners and small maintenance tasks.
- Light lifting may be required.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the manager in a timely manner.
