Client Relationship Manager

Ecclesiastical Insurance Group is seeking a dedicated Account Handler to enhance our team.
As a reputable independent insurance provider, we focus on delivering tailored solutions for various sectors, including agriculture, estates, and rural enterprises. Our services also encompass bespoke financial offerings, high-net-worth home insurance, commercial coverage, and risk management consulting.
In the role of Account Handler, you will be instrumental in nurturing robust relationships with our existing clientele while actively contributing to the expansion of our business through strategic engagement. You will have the authority to liaise with insurers and clients to facilitate transactions effectively.

- Prepare renewal schedules and proactively contact clients ahead of renewal dates, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Respond promptly to incoming inquiries for new business and create tailored quotations for prospective clients.
- Utilize your negotiation expertise to explore alternative quotes and secure optimal solutions for clients well before renewal deadlines.
- Manage all relevant documentation, including invoices and credit notes, to ensure a seamless renewal process for our clients.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling within our client portfolio and collaborate with colleagues to maximize revenue.
- Work closely with our Claims Handler to provide effective claims support as necessary.
- Prioritize client requests and strive for satisfactory resolutions, fostering strong relationships with our valued clients.
- Comply with all regulatory procedures and maintain organized file management.
- Build positive relationships with insurance providers to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Monitor delegated authority under agency agreements and maintain an effective credit control system.
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in insurance broking, ideally with a focus on agriculture, estates, and liability coverage
- Familiarity with a broad range of commercial insurance products and providers
- Experience in gathering information from clients via phone and email
- Proficient in obtaining quotes and placing business
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation abilities and the capacity to cultivate relationships with clients and insurers
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements within the insurance sector
- Remote work options available after successful probation period
- Employer pension contribution of 5%, increasing to 10% after five years of service

- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure
- 35 hours/week, standard hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
