About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic Home Treatment and Crisis Assessment Team within East London NHS Foundation Trust. This multi-disciplinary team provides urgent triage, comprehensive crisis assessments, and short-term home-based treatment for adults experiencing mental health crises in the London Borough of Newham.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough crisis assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide safe and effective home-based care to individuals experiencing acute mental health distress, offering an alternative to inpatient hospitalization.
  • Triaging crisis line referrals and ensuring prompt and appropriate responses to urgent needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues from various disciplines to deliver holistic and person-centered care.

About You

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) who is passionate about providing high-quality crisis care. You will possess excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
