  • Administer multiple core application platforms through cutting-edge configuration, database management, parameterisation, and scripting.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and change teams to shape requirements for core platform change requests, conducting impactful analysis and design.
  • Design and implement robust solutions that enhance performance, supportability, security, and resilience.
  • Provide top-notch 1st and 2nd line application support to colleagues, offering functional subject matter expertise and internal consultancy.
  • Oversee third-party IT suppliers, ensuring top-tier service delivery.
  • Manage core application configuration and environments with precision.
  • Support the operation of key IT controls, including role-based access control and release management.
  • Participate in daily batch operations and regular security patching.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on long-term business and technology objectives.

**Requirements:**

  • Familiarity with core banking platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL with experience in database design and managing large data sets.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle applications, databases, and tools (including PL/SQL).
  • Experience with service delivery frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Design and implementation experience in database, middleware, and API.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
