About the Role:

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with Asperger's, OCD, and Psychosis. You will work closely with a mixed-gender team to provide 2:1 support 24 hours a day, ensuring the individual's needs are met and their independence is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing encouragement and support to individuals with complex health needs and learning disabilities.
  • Implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments to ensure the individual's safety and well-being.
  • Supporting individuals with behaviors that may be considered challenging.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide person-centered care.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience in social care, ideally within mental health and with some experience of supporting individuals with Schizophrenia.
  • Current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months.
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
