Accounts Payable Specialist

Hotel Cafe Royal is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team on a 6-month maternity cover basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance team for our sister hotel, Conservatorium, in Amsterdam.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Raise payments to creditors and reconcile accounts
- Perform variance analysis of general ledger accounts and ensure accurate processing of invoices
- Work closely with the Purchasing department to match invoices to delivery notes and purchase orders
- Communicate with creditors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and issues
- Prepare monthly pre-payment schedules and reconcile Accounts Payable related clearing accounts
Your Profile
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a related field, preferably in a luxury hotel or retail company
- Excellent communication and numerical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and purchasing/procurement software such as SUN, Fourth Hospitality, and ADACO
- A good knowledge of Micros would be beneficial
