Utilities Administrator

About the Role
As a Utilities Administrator at Network Plus Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Operational Support team. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the effective programming of work by managing notices and permits, addressing council feedback, and overseeing compliance to mitigate risks associated with Streetworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehend the works management system and adhere to established processes.
  • Ensure timely and precise data entry and information uploads into the works management systems, addressing all issues promptly.
  • Utilize the Symology system effectively (training will be provided).
  • Drive Streetworks performance and foster continuous improvements in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Coordinate with Supervisors and subcontractors to guarantee the delivery of programs that meet client and operational standards.
  • Open and close work notices/permits, submit final registrations, and identify and escalate any Streetworks compliance issues.
  • Engage with local authorities and client representatives.
  • Analyze and respond to Section 74 charges and fixed penalty offenses.
  • Generate and distribute daily jeopardy reports as necessary.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Contribute positively and innovatively to the team by providing solutions to challenges and embracing change.
  • Report safety concerns in accordance with company procedures.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience with Streetworks and the Symology system is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner to meet critical deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly under pressure.
  • Prior experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
