Utilities Administrator

About the Role
As a Utilities Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Operational Support team at Network Plus Services. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the effective programming of the company's work by managing notices and permits, addressing council feedback, and overseeing compliance to minimize risks associated with Streetworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the works system and adhere to established processes.
  • Ensure timely and precise input and uploading of data into the works management systems, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Utilize the Symology system effectively; training will be provided.
  • Drive performance improvements in Streetworks by collaborating with Operational teams.
  • Coordinate with Supervisors and subcontractors to ensure project delivery meets client and operational standards.
  • Manage the opening and closing of work notices/permits, submit final registrations, and proactively identify and escalate compliance issues.
  • Engage with local authorities and client representatives as necessary.
  • Analyze and respond to Section 74 charges and fixed penalty offenses.
  • Prepare and distribute daily jeopardy reports as required.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure resolution.
  • Contribute positively to the team by providing innovative solutions and embracing change.
  • Report safety concerns in accordance with company procedures.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience in Streetworks and the Symology system is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner to meet critical deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Effective communication under pressure.
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
