About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Senior Team Leader to join our team at SBX Studios. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of film and video projects from the pitching stage to delivery.

Key responsibilities will include working with the client service and creative teams to prepare and sign off project budgets, timelines, and scopes of work. You will lead pre-production with the producer, ensuring all project elements come together while coordinating the status of all current projects and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.

You will also be responsible for approving locations and negotiating fees, hiring studios, locking shooting scripts, preparing production schedules, and ensuring health and safety and insurance paperwork is handled. Additionally, you will use your knowledge of Clearcast/BBFC/CAA guidelines to obtain swift script clearance for broadcast/cinema.

This role is ideal for an experienced Production Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career. Financial and budgetary acumen is essential, and you should be comfortable managing project costs and ensuring the efficient use of your time and team resources.

About You

We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:

  • Ability to make level-headed decisions under pressure, understanding the interplay between creativity and logical thinking.
  • Experience managing and wrangling multi-faceted projects, with a solid understanding of industry guidelines and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the creative and production process, with the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a production coordinator role, across different types of productions.
  • Extensive experience working with a range of disciplines required to deliver effective video content.
  • Experience managing production budgets of £125k–£250k and above.
  • Solid understanding of on-location film production requirements and best practices.
  • Knowledge of legal/copyright/usage requirements and relevant contractual obligations.
  • Experience with project management platforms, collaborative documents, and an ability to quickly learn new software and processes.
Nice to Have
  • A Health & Safety qualification and recent first aid training.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud software.
