About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transformational Leader to join our team as Assistant Chief Executive. This is a key leadership role that will play a pivotal part in driving the strategic direction of Nottingham City Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transformation Delivery: Lead the Corporate Programme Management function, ensuring effective support, oversight, and delivery of the Council's ambitious transformation agenda.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement strategies that are evidence-based, aligned with best practices, and embedded into our Strategic Council Plan and other key business plans.
  • Performance Improvement: Oversee the Performance Management Framework and ensure a culture of continuous improvement, driving better outcomes for Nottingham's citizens.
  • Communication and Engagement: Engage effectively with the people of Nottingham, ensuring that citizens' voices shape our decisions and that we communicate our actions transparently and proactively.
