Research Integrity Manager/Senior Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Integrity Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing Research Integrity team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing our Research Integrity strategy across a large portfolio of hybrid and open access journals, while managing a team in the resolution of publication ethics cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement policies, processes, and resources around research, pre-publication, and post-publication ethics.
  2. Lead the team in achieving our goal to maintain a reputation as a high-quality ethical publisher.
  3. Translate Research Integrity strategic objectives into practical plans to improve ethical policies in line with industry best practice.
  4. Identify ways to reduce the risk of ethical problems arising or enable more efficient resolution of problems.
  5. Develop and maintain resources around research integrity matters to support the Research Integrity Team and Editorial colleagues.
  6. Lead on the management of ethics cases arising on journals and create solutions to identified problems.
  7. Ensure the Research Integrity team delivers a high level of support and expertise to colleagues such as journal editors.
  8. Participate in industry projects and working groups; act as an ambassador for research integrity externally.
Requirements:
  1. Excellent understanding of research, publication ethics, and familiarity with industry best practices.
  2. Experienced research integrity professional with expertise in managing a team of RI specialists.

Salary: £62,810 – £70,665 salary, bonus, and benefits package is offered or contact us using our online form.
