Accommodation Supervisor

The College Green Hotel Dublin, Autograph Collection is seeking a highly skilled Accommodation Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping operation and ensure exceptional service to hotel guests.
Main Purpose of the Job:Assist the Accommodation Management in supervising the housekeeping operation to meet product quality standards and provide optimum service to hotel guests.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Coordinate work orders in assigned areas and follow up on inspections
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure standards are being achieved by each employee
- Monitor the performance of Accommodation Assistants to ensure standards are met
- Ensure sufficient supplies on the guest floor and maintain equipment according to standards
- Observe uniform and dress standards on a daily basis
- Follow proper payroll, uniform, and key procedures
- Accurately comply with Lost and Found procedures
- Train accommodation employees to achieve cleanliness standards in guest rooms
- Deliver and receive constructive and corrective feedback for development
- Highlight areas of personal development and recommend training required
- Value the contribution of all team members and recognize positive feedback and departmental successes
- Provide excellent guest service in all areas of responsibility
- Monitor and direct progress of accommodation persons in rooms undergoing deep cleaning
- Maintain the upkeep of bedspreads, draperies, carpet cleaning, sheers, valances, and furniture refurbishing
- Maintain high employee morale
- Perform other tasks or projects assigned by hotel management and staff
- Previous experience as an Accommodation Supervisor or Senior Accommodation Assistant
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on and can-do approach to work with a strong work ethic
- Flexible working availability with no rostering restrictions
- Currently resident in Ireland
- Knowledge of Opera an advantage
