Finance Assistant/ Purchase Ledger

Working within the property and construction industry, you will be part of a growing and progressive Group of companies whose primary focus is the development of homes.
Client Details
With many new properties being built, renovated, serviced, and leased, the role requires someone with previous experience of dealing with a high volume of invoices and excellent customer service skills when resolving queries.
Description
Duties and tasks of the Finance Assistant:
- Collating invoices from multiple locations
- Processing invoices, nominal coding, and matching to delivery notes
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Handling supplier queries and resolving
- Preparation and processing of payment runs
- Assisting with month-end preparation
- Running reports
- Assisting with sales ledger invoicing and expenses
- Cash, credit card, and direct debit reconciliations
Profile
To be successful as the Finance Assistant, you will have:
- Experience of processing invoices
- Ability to analyze a high volume of data
- Administration experience
- Finance background
- Ability to use an intermediate level of MS Office, Excel, and an accounting system
