Pay Rate: £14 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the purchase and sales ledgers, maintaining cashbooks, and ensuring accurate reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger:
    • Verify and check invoices for accuracy and completeness.
    • Send invoices for approval to relevant departments.
    • Input approved invoices into the system.
    • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Sales Ledger:
    • Prepare and issue sales invoices promptly and accurately.
    • Reconcile customer receipts and update ledgers accordingly.
    • Follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection.
  • Cashbooks:
    • Input and maintain cashbooks to track financial transactions.
    • Reconcile bank accounts regularly to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Experience with purchase ledger, sales ledger, and cashbooks.
    • Familiarity with SAP B1 is highly advantageous.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    • Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
