Job Title: Disaster Recovery and Testing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Disaster Recovery and Testing Manager to join our team at Nexus Jobs Limited.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the disaster recovery and testing efforts for our financial services client. This is a 3-month contract in London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and testing strategies aligned with industry best practices.
  • Lead a team of testers in executing disaster recovery tests and ensuring the integrity of our systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain test environments, including configuration and release management processes.
  • Design and implement automation frameworks and techniques to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in disaster recovery and testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle models, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Expertise in disaster recovery test planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of test data setup and delivery.
  • Understanding of automation frameworks and techniques.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle or SQL is a plus.
