We are seeking a seasoned Senior Disaster Recovery Project Manager to lead our client's project in developing a realistic delivery plan for their Disaster Recovery capability. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Disaster Recovery projects, collaborating with IT SMEs and Business Change teams, and delivering projects with multiple priorities and ambiguous requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project meetings to ensure projects are tracking to plan, including regular status reporting to the Programme Manager and Delivery Board.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and SMEs to obtain buy-in to project work.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among the project team to ensure a common understanding of the project, roles, and responsibilities.
- Ensure specification artefacts are accepted and signed off by the management team.
- Manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience delivering Disaster Recovery projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects, including infrastructure and technical cloud projects.
- Experience in leading projects with various methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
- Experience in matrix managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and technical cloud projects.
