We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Digital Distribution Product Owner to join our team at Jaguar & Land Rover. As a key member of our Digital Product Platform, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Electrical Distribution System (EDS) commodity, ensuring its robust and efficient design, and driving innovation in product strategy and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of EDS commodity, including geometry, cost, weight, quality, robustness, and functional performance.
- Accountable for ensuring the successful merging of logical data with mechanical data in alignment with Bill of Design (BoD), Bill of Process (BoP), and harness design for manufacture (DFM) requirements.
- Lead EDS 3D design progression tracker (VEPS) and product validation through an internal requirements management tool for EDS, including virtual and physical testing.
- Responsible for 2D / 3D wiring harnesses geometry, change control, product definition, and change management processes to deliver innovative, robust, and efficient product actions.
- Ensure that all required documentation/plans to support virtual builds, validation plans (e.g., JLR PDP181, stepped validation plan) are in place and progressing with integrity to meet programme plans.
- Able to clearly and logically articulate technical details and issues to a broad range of individuals and teams with varying levels of EDS understanding, engaging cooperation in developing truly integrated and efficient solutions.
- Be resilient and able to manage difficult and challenging situations to ensure the delivery of efficient, integrated, and robust EDS solutions with JLR products.
- Be able to demonstrate technical understanding and have a passion for technical detail and innovative problem-solving.
