Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Performance Research Officer to join our 'Performance, Research and Risk' team at West Berkshire Council.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team providing performance management advice and support to Children and Family Services and Adult Social Care.
  • Source, process, and report data and intelligence from various systems and sources, including research, evaluations, and consultations.
  • Oversee statutory returns to Government, including data/intelligence preparation for inspections.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification relevant to the post.
  • Possess strong IT skills.
  • Have relevant knowledge and experience to successfully manage reporting specifications for software providers.
  • Have sound knowledge and understanding of local government children safeguarding and adult social care functions.
  • Have strong organisational and project management skills.
