About the Role
As a Senior Standards Verifier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vocational qualifications within the Sports and Coaching sector meet national standards. You will be responsible for verifying assessment decisions and processes across various centers, providing guidance and support to maintain compliance with established frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough sampling of learner work and internal verification records to confirm adherence to national standards.
- Offer expert advice and guidance to centers on best practices for assessment and internal verification.
- Produce comprehensive reports detailing the outcomes of sampling activities, recommendations for improvement, and support provided to centers.
- Recommend appropriate certification actions based on the findings of your verifications, including limited certification, deferrals, or registration deferrals when necessary.
- Develop targeted action plans to assist centers in addressing any identified gaps in meeting national standards.
- Collaborate with centers to ensure successful implementation of recommended actions and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the verification process.
You possess a strong understanding of vocational assessment and quality assurance principles. Your expertise in the Sports and Coaching sector, coupled with your analytical and communication skills, will enable you to effectively guide centers towards achieving excellence in their practices.
