About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Engineer to join our team at OSB Group. As a Data Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain tailored test plans, cases, and scripts for data validation
  • Scope, plan, prepare, and coordinate data test activity for projects, releases, change, and defect fixes to achieve successful delivery to time and quality
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge and level of expertise of the OSB Data Warehouses and Reporting systems to support each testing project
  • Conduct data mapping and integration testing to ensure seamless data flow between systems
  • Validate data transformations, mappings, and business rules with data engineers and developers
  • Write complex and structured SQL queries to interrogate databases
  • Document test plans, results, and reports
  • Communicate test progress, risks, and issues to team members
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Data Test Analyst/Data Quality Analyst with experience in data testing concepts and methodologies
  • Proficiency designing and executing data tests, profiling, quality assessment, and validation
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to identify and analyze data
  • Knowledge and experience of writing complex SQL queries and database interrogation
  • Understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks
  • Experience in system integration, regression testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
