About the Role:

As a DV Support Worker, you will be a vital part of our team providing support and guidance to individuals affected by domestic violence and abuse. You will be the first point of contact for many callers, offering a reassuring and non-judgmental listening ear.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to callers via our helpline
  • Assess caller needs and provide relevant information and resources
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure a comprehensive support service
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Understanding of domestic violence and abuse
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
