About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Engineer to join our team at CV-Library. As a Process Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of process methodology and process equipment required to manufacture bespoke technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineering designs, construct, commission, and test novel process equipment and test equipment.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and external organisations to ensure the successful development and qualification of new processes and products.
  • Project management of development activities.
  • Support commercial projects to exploit the new capability and ensure alignment with commercial requirements.
  • Liaise with manufacturing engineers & technicians to manufacture and test prototypes for customer applications and research projects.

Requirements:

  • Process knowledge and experience in automated welding, fluid / gas control and dispensing, electrical control systems, data acquisition and evaluation.
  • R&D / Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering background (3 years' experience).
  • Experience of 3D Modelling/2D Drawings.
  • Experience in development of new process equipment and procedures.
  • Experience in development of products.
  • Experience in verification and qualification testing to ISO standards (or equivalent).
  • Analytical skills and test report writing ability.
