About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Engineer to join our team at CV-Library. As a Process Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of process methodology and process equipment required to manufacture bespoke technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering designs, construct, commission, and test novel process equipment and test equipment.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external organisations to ensure the successful development and qualification of new processes and products.
- Project management of development activities.
- Support commercial projects to exploit the new capability and ensure alignment with commercial requirements.
- Liaise with manufacturing engineers & technicians to manufacture and test prototypes for customer applications and research projects.
Requirements:
- Process knowledge and experience in automated welding, fluid / gas control and dispensing, electrical control systems, data acquisition and evaluation.
- R&D / Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering background (3 years' experience).
- Experience of 3D Modelling/2D Drawings.
- Experience in development of new process equipment and procedures.
- Experience in development of products.
- Experience in verification and qualification testing to ISO standards (or equivalent).
- Analytical skills and test report writing ability.
