Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs to live independently in the community? Do you want to make a real difference in people's lives?

We're looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Home Group, a Top Ten Great Place to Work in the UK. As a Support Worker, you'll be at the heart of our service, supporting our customers to develop their skills and achieve their goals.

What you'll do:
  • Assist customers with daily living tasks to promote independence and achieve their support plans.
  • Provide support to combat homelessness and help customers maintain their tenancy.
  • Help customers with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, and maintaining their accommodation.
  • Carry out risk assessments, support planning, and regular reviews.
  • Build relationships with customers and colleagues, and work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

What we're looking for:
  • Experience of caring for others, either in a professional or personal capacity.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure, and have a resilient approach.
  • A flexible and personal approach to supporting customers with diverse needs.
  • Access to a vehicle insured for business purposes (mileage paid).
