About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at our Central Gloucester Accommodation Based Service. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to young people aged 16-25 who are facing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to empower young people in improving independent living skills.
  • Safeguard young people from any potential danger, harm, or abuse.
  • Accurately document notes on our computer system and ensure seamless communication with support staff for effective handovers.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for young people.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £23,100 per year, 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, with an additional day added per year and an option to purchase more. We also offer enhanced pension and sick pay, death in service benefit, free subscription to Benenden Cashback plan or Perkbox Discounts, and access to a Workplace Welfare Manager for support when needed.
