We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Milton of Campsie. As an Autism Specialist, you will work closely with an individual who has complex autism, providing person-centered support that enables them to achieve their goals and live a fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide flexible and customer-led support to the individual, meeting their needs and preferences.
  • Work as part of an established team to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Develop and maintain a trusting relationship with the individual, understanding their complex needs and adapting your approach accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with the individual, who does not use verbal speech, and work collaboratively with colleagues to make necessary support changes.
  • Deal with complex situations and problem-solve, using your skills and experience to find innovative solutions.
  • Self-reflect and work with colleagues to continuously improve the support provided.
Requirements
  • Experience in supporting adults with Autism, with a strong understanding of their complex needs.
  • Ability to adapt your approach to provide innovative, person-centered support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals who do not use verbal speech.
  • Flexibility and commitment to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full UK driving license.
