Job Title: Governance and Compliance ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Governance and Compliance Manager to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will have a clinical background in medicine, nursing, pharmacy or allied health.
The Governance and Compliance Manager will work in an environment focused on actively managing governance and assurance across a number of services and ensuring that patient and staff safety remains paramount.
Key Responsibilities:- Support arrangements for governance and the coordination of corporate and legal compliance across the organisation.
- Coordinate and oversee all governance and compliance related meetings and working groups.
- Ensure efficient information flows between all teams.
- Lead the preparation of evidence relating to clinical effectiveness and audit for internal and external reports, reviews and inspections.
- Advise on relevant processes throughout the services.
- Data mapping, quality assurance, incident management and support, risk assessments, analysis, management and support, complaints handling and support.
- Support or lead in operations/governance projects.
- Support or lead in the management and development of policies and procedures.
- Supporting or lead change management.
- Cascading governance related information internally.
- Supporting with all aspects of governance and compliance across all teams.
- Deputising for the Head of Governance.
- Experience of regulatory requirements and compliance, legal interactions, procurement, insurance, and contracts.
- Able to investigate, manage and create actionable service improvement plans through incident/deviation management.
- Experience of creation and delivery of training programmes.
- The ability to research best practices and support implementation across teams.
- The ability to manage the operational aspect of the role regarding governance and compliance.
- Holds or is willing to work towards a recognised qualification in Governance / Risk management.
