Executive Chef

As a Head Chef with Aramark, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, leading a team of chefs and FOH staff to deliver high-quality food and service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve food to the highest standard
* Manage a small team of chefs and FOH staff, including staff rotas
* Organize and support your team to ensure a smooth operation daily
* Produce food in line with recipe sheets, with full knowledge of all menu items served
* Organize monthly stock count and conduct appropriate brand standard audits
* Support the effective delivery of special functions or events
* Ensure high-quality service to mess members and other military personnel
* Manage production and food levels to minimize wastage
* Place orders and keep records of stock wastage
* Complete shift opening and closing checklists and due diligence
* Act as trainer/coach for new team members
Requirements:
* Previous experience in catering and/or Mess operational role
* Effective verbal and written communication
* Knowledge/qualification in Health & Safety and Food Safety
* Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* One of the following qualifications or equivalent: BSC (Catering), MHCIM, HND, City and Guild 706/1 and 2, NVQ level 2 and 3
