KDI Knickerbocker Dialysis, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Kidney Smart Educator to join our team. As a Kidney Smart Educator, you will play a vital role in educating patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) on proper kidney care and management.
Responsibilities- Education Delivery:
- Develop and deliver educational programs to patients with CKD, focusing on key actions towards improved health outcomes.
- Explain complex health concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, using the most recent Kidney Smart curriculum and educator guide.
- Work with patients who may have hearing, sight, or mobility challenges.
- Maintain a safe learning environment by adhering to Kidney Smart Program Requirements and compliance policy.
- Review, educate, and answer questions on various dialysis modalities, including transplant, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home hemodialysis.
- Educational and Clinical Requirements:
- Hold clinical experience, preferably in kidney care.
- Be a certified and/or licensed healthcare professional, with the ability to provide proof of licensure or certification upon onboarding.
