The Subcontract team plays a crucial role in providing financial, administrative, and clerical assistance to the organization. Our mission is to ensure that our supply chain partners are compensated according to agreed terms by processing, verifying, and reconciling subcontract payment certificates.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Subcontract Support Specialist, you will be engaged in various aspects of subcontract processes across multiple operating companies, including but not limited to:

  • Ensuring compliance with subcontract regulations and requirements;
  • Conducting payment reviews and processing requests on a daily, weekly, and urgent basis;
  • Managing subcontract rotation tasks, which include approving subcontract payment certificates, reviewing automated report outputs, and handling requests for Authenticated Tax Receipts (ATRs);
  • Addressing rejections, holds, and payment/VAT issues while managing daily workflow queries;
  • Ensuring timely payments to supplier accounts in accordance with established terms;
  • Collaborating with procurement and business teams to resolve queries related to subcontract payments and orders;
  • Responding to email inquiries from both internal stakeholders and external suppliers;
  • Maintaining up-to-date process manuals;
  • Assisting with research and various projects as needed.

Team Collaboration:

  • Foster effective communication within the team to resolve queries promptly;
  • Actively participate in team meetings and broader business discussions;
  • Provide support to team members during periods of absence or high workload to meet business objectives;
  • Maintain proficiency in ERP and other relevant systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Desirable Experience:

  • Progressing towards T Level 2 or other professional qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA;
