**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Smart 10 Ltd. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Undertake reviews of existing policies for our clients, including fleet, mid-corporate, and large corporate commercial policies, as well as home, motor, and equine policies.
  • Cross-sell the full range of products, including financial services and risk management services.
  • Effectively manage your time to balance client reviews, pre and post-review work, and other responsibilities.
  • Maintain and constantly develop knowledge of products and services, as well as stay up-to-date with relevant industry knowledge.
  • Grow a profile and reputation within the Agency for advising corporate businesses, delivering effective insurance solutions, and providing excellent service across all products.

**Qualifications / Experience:**

  • Minimum two years' experience in a commercial insurance role, with demonstrated experience of client & account management, strong retention rates, and ability to develop client relationships.
  • Good working knowledge of insurance compliance requirements and a strong track record of sales quality.
  • A full UK driving licence is required, as client visits will be necessary in this role.
  • Strong IT literacy, being proficient in the use of MS Office Applications.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent of A-C grade, including Maths and English.
