Litigation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Litigation Coordinator to join our team at Northern Powergrid. As a key member of our claims administration team, you will be responsible for managing a case load of damage claims, establishing key customer contacts, and using IT applications to track and resolve claims.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a case load of damage claims ranging from £100 to £1m+ in a timely manner within the Delegations of Authority.
- Establish key customer contacts and manage down their debt.
- Use IT applications including Solcase, GIS, EamEam Spatial, OMS, and Oracle to track and resolve claims.
- Apply and understand the principles of relevant legislation and guidance notes when handling damage claims.
- Handle technical and legal queries and disputes.
- Identify problematic claims and determine the best course of action.
- Understand the costing of damage repairs and the associated overheads.
- Apply strong customer service skills when handling disputes/queries.
- Support the claims admin team and other litigation coordinators.
- Progress claims into Litigation for resolution.
- Work closely with our external legal service providers.
- Meet with third parties or their representatives on occasions to resolve liability and/or quantum issues.
