Job Title: Energy Network Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Network Coordinator to join our team at Northern Powergrid. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our power network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle a specific case load for recovery of costs incurred as a result of damage caused to Northern Powergrid's assets by third parties.
  • Communicate with third parties by telephone and in writing, requiring excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Manage a case load of damage claims ranging from £100 to £1m+ in a timely manner within the Delegations of Authority.
  • Apply and understand the principles of relevant legislation and guidance notes when handling damage claims.
  • Identify problematic claims and determine the best course of action.
  • Support the claims admin team and other litigation coordinators.
  • Progress claims into Litigation for resolution.
  • Work closely with our external legal service providers.
Requirements:
  • OR NVQ Level 3 or ONC in Business Management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous claims/insurance/legal experience.
