In this position, you will be tasked with developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies for our machinery, focusing on maximizing reliability while managing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and refine a comprehensive maintenance schedule that ensures the reliability of all mechanical and electrical assets within the manufacturing sector. Serve as the primary contact for maintenance support, coordinating with Original Equipment Manufacturers as necessary. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure the efficient use of equipment, aligning with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Develop and maintain effective maintenance documentation and procedures to support the Site Capital Plan. Assist in planning for future capital expenditures by analyzing equipment longevity and performance. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, safety, efficiency, and minimizing waste. Contribute to achieving targeted savings in manufacturing costs relative to production volume changes. Shift the maintenance approach from reactive to proactive, ensuring a 'Right First Time' philosophy. Utilize Continuous Improvement tools, such as Root Cause Analysis, to enhance the effectiveness of maintenance strategies.Qualifications:
Completion of an apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical, or automation disciplines. In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation maintenance, with specific expertise in bakery and process equipment. Familiarity with Original Equipment Manufacturer asset care guidelines. Strong organizational and planning skills relevant to maintenance activities and equipment upgrades.Benefits:
