In collaboration with prominent food industry partners, ranging from established corporations to emerging enterprises, we are on the lookout for a skilled Product Innovator to enhance our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Leveraging your expertise in research and development as well as product prototyping, you will take charge of the new product development (NPD) ideation phases for both new and existing clientele.

Your role will involve overseeing R&D and NPD initiatives, orchestrating the strategic planning through brainstorming sessions, managing all phases of the project timeline, and effectively communicating essential milestones to both clients and internal stakeholders. This position will require a blend of creative development and market assessment, while also considering cost implications and technical specifications, utilizing your industry insights to foster growth and a solution-oriented approach within your team.

A crucial part of your responsibilities will be to engage closely with suppliers and clients, collaborating to ensure that product developments align with their brand ethos.

You will lead client meetings and presentations, articulating concepts clearly and managing project timelines. Embracing the challenge of applying your R&D and NPD expertise to diverse product categories will be essential, as your curiosity drives innovation.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an R&D expert capable of applying strategic thought and a passion for innovation in a commercially focused, client-oriented environment. You will possess robust project management capabilities honed through your experience in product development roles, with a clear understanding of the critical factors that influence product market entry. A sharp awareness of emerging food trends is vital, alongside a comprehensive grasp of both the creative and technical dimensions of the product development lifecycle. Your attention to detail and methodical approach will be complemented by a strong results-driven mindset and a high level of customer orientation.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, enabling you to effectively influence key stakeholders. You will be assertive and systematic in your methodology while remaining adaptable and flexible to achieve success in this rewarding and challenging position.
