Hours: 37.5, Monday-Friday
Salary: £45,000 (OTE £75,000)
Our client, a leading carrier management company, is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to join their friendly sales team. The ideal candidate will have several years of new business parcel sales experience and be based in the South, ideally in the Home Counties area.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of hitting new business sales targets and will be self-driven, reliable, and hardworking with a clear focus on implementing new business opportunities for our client while maximizing revenues. They will also have superb communication skills at all levels and a strong ability to impact and influence.

- Gain and implement new business opportunities for our client while maximizing revenue and margin.
- Develop and implement a sales plan and call cycle that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business and maximizes growth of existing major account customers to achieve individual sales (volume and profitability) targets.
- Continuously develop company knowledge, commercial awareness, and own skills and abilities to provide the best possible standard of sales practices and maximize own contribution to the selling process.
- Promote our client's brand image and values through own appearance and behavior to reflect our client's high standards and develop customer relationships.
Essential:
- Minimum 3+ years new business sales background within the parcel delivery/logistics sector.
- Proven track record of hitting new business sales targets.
- Business/commercial acumen.
