About the Role

We are seeking an Aspiring Psychologist to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a local school in Kingston-upon-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to gain experience and develop their skills in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEN and SEND in a 1:1 and small group setting
  • Work under the guidance of an experienced SENCO to implement work programmes with students with additional learning needs
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum degree (or predicted) of a 2:1 within Psychology from a top 20 university
  • Confident in supporting young students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
