About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at a GOOD Ofsted Rated Primary School in Kingston. The successful candidate will be working with a young child who has Autism, providing support in lessons and caring for him.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to a child with Autism in a classroom setting
- Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Monitor and report on the child's progress
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the child, parents, and school staff
Requirements:
- Over 6 weeks' recent experience in a childcare setting
- Current DBS check
- Reference information for the last 3 years
- UK eligibility to work
