Job Description

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Kingston Upon Thames

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at a GOOD Ofsted Rated Primary School in Kingston. The successful candidate will be working with a young child who has Autism, providing support in lessons and caring for him.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to a child with Autism in a classroom setting
  • Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
  • Monitor and report on the child's progress
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the child, parents, and school staff

Requirements:

  • Over 6 weeks' recent experience in a childcare setting
  • Current DBS check
  • Reference information for the last 3 years
  • UK eligibility to work
