About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced media practitioner to join our External Affairs team as an External Affairs Media Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare's (FSRH) external-facing media and social media functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective media and communications strategies to promote FSRH's advocacy ambitions and healthcare rights.
  • Work closely with the Senior Media Consultant to upskill and develop the role, providing an excellent learning opportunity.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to develop and execute internal and corporate communications.
  • Manage FSRH's external-facing media and social media functions, ensuring a strong online presence and engaging content.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in media and communications, with a strong background in PR, social media, or related fields.
  • Excellent writing skills and a broad understanding of communications techniques to engage policy makers and the general public.
  • Passion for improving society and a commitment to promoting healthcare rights.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
