About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced media practitioner to join our External Affairs team as a Media and Communications Officer. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing our external-facing media and social media functions, while advising on FSRH strategic issues where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement media and communications strategies to promote FSRH's advocacy ambitions
  • Manage FSRH's external-facing media and social media functions, including content creation and distribution
  • Work closely with other internal departments to develop and execute internal and corporate communications
  • Provide media and communications support to the External Affairs team, including media relations and crisis communications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in PR, social media, or other media disciplines
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • A broad understanding of communications techniques to engage policy makers and the general public
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
