We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at PBR Executive Search Limited as an Audit Senior. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audits for clients with turnovers up to £250 million, including specialist audits such as pensions, charities, and schools, and solicitors.
  • Plan, supervise, and carry out audits with minimal supervision, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Supervise and assist junior staff with technical accounting and auditing problems.
  • Prepare draft corporation tax computations and statutory accounts under FRS102 from clients' draft figures.
  • Develop and implement recommendations to management following audit fieldwork completion.
  • Prepare responses for group reporting for clients where we are the component auditor.
  • Manage larger accounts preparation jobs for audit-exempt limited companies, partnerships, and LLPs.

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification or almost qualified.
  • At least 2.5 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and positive attitude.
  • Able to build strong client relationships and maintain them.
  • Able to work within deadlines and budgets.
