GKN Aerospace is a leading innovator in the aerospace industry, and we're seeking a skilled ERP Systems Financial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in providing business support and delivering best practices around the design and implementation of ERP applications and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for ERP and business process issues, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.
  • Analyze user operational procedures to develop functional systems requirements, advising and instructing other staff on development and implementation.
  • Enhance process flow and user documentation for ERP-related modules, improving user knowledge and competency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project tracking and control, serving as a liaison between functional and technical resources.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, driving innovation and efficiency in our financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with large ERP applications, focusing on finance modules in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in financial data analysis and reporting, with experience in creating and maintaining functions, stored procedures, and using SQL in a relational database environment.
  • Ability to effectively work with end users and business teams for requirements gathering, understanding customer needs, and testing.
  • U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related fields of study.
  • Experience with common finance business practices, such as EDI, Supplier Financing Programs, and automated invoicing.
  • Experience with complex account reconciliations in standard and actual costing environments.
  • Experience with CINCOM Control and Unit4 Financials.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, taking initiative and driving results.
