We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to join our team as an Interim Supply Chain Manager. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management within the Defence or related sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers to enhance overall supply chain performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Actively manage and monitor supplier performance to meet and exceed cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Oversee supplier selection and manage subcontract engineering development work packages, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.
- Collaborate with existing and new suppliers to continuously improve cost efficiency, product quality, and delivery schedules, driving increased profitability for the business.
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain risk management plans to safeguard the business against potential disruptions.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in supply chain management within the Defence or related sectors.
- Security Clearance: SC clearance is preferred, allowing for immediate involvement in sensitive projects.
- Flexibility: Ability to work on-site or remotely, with options for hybrid working.
