Stoke Park is a prestigious estate with a rich history, situated in a stunning 300-acre Capability Brown landscape. The estate is currently undergoing a comprehensive restoration project, which presents a unique opportunity for a Health and Safety Administrator to join the team.

About the Role

This newly created role will support the Head of Health and Safety in all aspects of health and safety management, including audits, recordkeeping, training, and system management. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, a genuine interest in health and safety, and strong administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Health and Safety in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.
  • Conduct investigations into accidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
  • Monitor and drive the implementation of corrective and preventative actions arising from health and safety activities, including risk assessments and safety audits.
  • Prepare health and safety reports to ensure stakeholders have timely and relevant information.
  • Ensure contractors on site provide necessary documentation before work commences.
  • Maintain and update records of safety audits, plans, and reports.
  • Manage accident and near miss data.
  • Collate and file safety documentation.
Requirements
  • Previous administration experience.
  • Attention to detail, with good written and spoken English.
  • Intermediate+ IT skills – Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • A can-do attitude, great team player, and a natural completer-finisher.
  • Confident, engaging, and a clear communicator.
  • Able to take initiative and work autonomously.
  • Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
