Senior HR Advisor Role

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our team at Mativ. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our leaders and managers in the development and implementation of HR strategies that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategic Partner
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
    • Provide expert advice on employment law, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Employee Relations
    • Manage complex employee relations cases, including investigations, mediations, and settlements.
    • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to improve morale and productivity.
  • Recruitment and Talent Management
    • Partner with hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
    • Develop and implement talent management programs to identify, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Performance Management
    • Develop and implement performance management processes to ensure employee performance is aligned with business objectives.
    • Provide coaching and development opportunities to employees to improve performance and achieve career goals.
  • HR Operations
    • Oversee the administration of HR systems, including payroll, benefits, and time-off management.
    • Develop and implement HR processes and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills
    • Proven track record of managing complex employee relations cases.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Education
    • Relevant degree in HR or a related field.
