Early Years Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Tower Hamlets. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing personalized assistance to children with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential.

About the Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide focused support in the mornings for students with SEMH needs, including those with ADHD diagnoses and potential self-harming behaviors. You will also offer essential afternoon assistance, with the flexibility to work across Key Stages 1 and 2 as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted support to students with SEMH needs, including those with ADHD diagnoses and potential self-harming behaviors.

  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student.
