We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support an exceptional group of students in a vibrant and welcoming primary school environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide focused support to students with SEMH needs, including those with ADHD and potential self-harming behaviors.
  • Offer afternoon assistance across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to various learning needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that helps each child thrive.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement personalized learning plans and interventions.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, offering the encouragement they need to grow and succeed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proactive and resilient, with a passion for helping children reach their best.
  • Willingness to assist with nappy changing when needed, ensuring all students are cared for.
  • A solid understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
  • A team player who communicates effectively and can also work independently.
