About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Tower Hamlets. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, particularly those with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, including those with ADHD diagnoses and potential self-harming behaviors.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with the SENCO to implement individualized support plans and interventions.
  • Build strong relationships with students, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • A proactive and resilient individual who upholds high standards and strives to bring out the best in pupils.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
